Joe L. SimmonsJoe Simmons the author of The Hand, is a native of Jacksonville, NC. Where he enjoyed: the Boy Scouts, camping, crabbing, writing, fishing, playing football and throwing the Discus for Jacksonville High, crabbing,
attended church services at First Baptist Church off Broadhurst Rd. He currently resides in Cincinnati, Ohio. Joe has earned a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science degree from North Carolina A&T State University. Whenever he is not travelling, Joe enjoys teaching discus throwing, dancing, camping, and worship service at Southern Baptist church off Reading Rd. He is a local story teller and has converted one of his popular tales ‘The Hand’ into his first short story. Additionally, Joe holds a patent on a tool that helps setup throwing areas in Track and Field "Throwtractor" and copyrights on cost/time saving software that helps corporations and/or individuals reuse intellectual property "File Harmonizer". |
