The Hand, is a short story about an unresolved incident that occurred at a state park. The intent is to encourage young children to listen to their parents, because if not, bad things could and often do happen. The story challenges teenagers to take necessary precautions when camping. It teaches adults that unforeseen consequences can be deadly, as learned by two naïve men who found a very old curse and wielded it like a toy. Before knowing what happened, they had lost their souls.
